Background
The first time I heard “Fallin’” it caught me off guard. Back then it was rare to hear a Filipino act go full pop / future bass, and I got hooked fast — I couldn’t help imagining my own spin on it.
So I flipped it: more dance, a future-house bounce with a bit of trap in the low end — just something fun. I sent it over to Dave Anonuevo, the producer of the original (and a genuinely nice guy, now CEO of Unstable Records). To my surprise they loved it, and Dave passed it on to Tarsier Records, who put it out as the official remix.
Production
The remit I set myself was simple: keep what makes “Fallin’” land, but give it a new body — future-house energy, dance drums, a touch of trap — and above all, keep it fun.
